The Julie Brannagh ECWC Memorial Scholarship
The Greater Seattle Chapter of RWA is honored to introduce the Julie Brannagh ECWC Memorial Scholarship. In 2017 GSRWA and ECWC lost a beloved member of our family. After news of her sudden passing, people began contacting us to relate stories of how Julie was the first person they met at a GSRWA meeting or when they first attended the Emerald City Writers’ Conference. She would remember them the next time she saw them, encourage them, push them and mostly, cheer them on throughout their writing journeys.
In the spirit of Julie’s mentorship, GSRWA and Julie’s agent, Sarah Younger, are offering a scholarship for registration to the Emerald City Writers Conference.
About the Scholarship
- The scholarship is available to any writer, over the age of 18. (per RWA rules)

- The scholarship will award the recipient registration for the Emerald City Writers’ Conference and that year’s Master Class.
