GSRWA Newsletter, November/December, 2004

Christmas Party is coming!!!!

Hope to see all of you at the party on December 11 from 3-7 in the Bellevue Coast Hotel!  I've already got my present purchased, now I'm working on the outside!  Can't wait to see what's in store for us at the gift exchange!

NEW: I've added a link to my new agents listing.  I'm getting the surveys back from the agents.  I've included their comments.  Take a look, you might find the your dream agent!

Vianna said, "I've decided to be flaky this month and use the query format for my into this month's newsletter."  She paused and sipped her eggnog.  "To bad it's not spiked," she murmured.

Dear GSRWA Members:

I enjoyed spending a Saturday afternoon with so many of you on November 6 and learning about writing query letters and synopses.   I have been restructuring my submissions package to include all of this terrific new information presented so wonderfully by Elizabeth Flynn (and Trisha Howell's handout)!

Are you striving to give the characters in your novels more emotional appeal?  Have you been wondering how to utilize the internet to promote your writing career?  Are you afraid of rejections?  Have you been wondering how to incorporate your writing career into your tax return?  If any of these questions have piqued your interest, head straight for the articles section and you'll find some of the answers.

As newsletter editor for the past five months I have had requests by members for the following topics: writing romantic suspense, chick lit, and marketing strategies.  So if you have a unique approach to these (or any writing related topic) please send them my way.

Thank you for your time and consideration while you peruse this months newsletter!  I look forward to hearing from you in the near future with your comments.

Sincerely,

Kari/Vianna
